For a major player in Aerospace manfucaturing and innovation, both commercially as military, we are looking for a Quality Liason Engineer.

For our the business unit Aerostructures of our client we are looking for a Quality Liaison Engineer within a military program.

This program works, within a Joint Venture Agreement as a Partner Company, together with two other helicopter Divisions, within the Industries organization, located in Aix-en-Provence France.

The Quality Liaison Engineer represents Aerostructures in theIndustries Quality Assurance Team securing the programs Quality Assurance requirements within the framework of the Aerostructures Quality Management System.

The Quality Liaison Engineer role is to facilitate and support the business to continuously improve its quality performance. Your challenge would be to focus on the development and implementation of Quality Management System standards, agreed by the NHI Quality Assurance Team, within the Aerostructures organization.

You are part of

You will be part of the Aerostructures program team based in Papendrecht. You will report functionally to the SHEQ Site Manager and operationally to the Program Manager.

You are responsible for:

• the deployment of the program’s Quality requirements and standards in the various sites and through the Supply Chain Quality organisation for the Supply base, initiated and maintained in a Quality Assurance Plan.

• represent Aerostructures in the NHI QAT and approve on behalf of Aerostructures QMS on changes to the Quality Management System, securing the programs quality objectives.

• liaison with the Government Quality Assurance representatives in the various sites securing the QA activities as required by the individual contracts.

• supporting the programs continues improvement program, initiated and maintained in a Quality Improvement Plan.

• report out to the Program team and to the NHI Quality Assurance Team on achieved quality objectives, required corrective actions and any activity that may impact the program.

• report the Quality performance to the GQA representatives on a regular basis as required by the individual contracts.

• for defining, maintaining and improving an effective non-conformance handling and root cause corrective action process, within the various Aerostructures sites and the various Final Assembly Lines.

Functie eisen

  • You have a Bachelor degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering with experience in Quality roles related to Aerospace industry. You are familiar with quality-, security- and environment systems.
  • To be successful in this role you are a strong leader with an independent attitude. You are strong on making decisions and work together with different stakeholders from customer- and operations organization.
  • You need to be comfortable with working in a matrix organization.
