The internal Management Center Europe (OMCE), headquartered in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands is the holding company for the operations in the EMEA. OMCE supports the businesses in the 23 countries across the EMEA region. OMCE aim to maximise their results, mainly about advancing their long-term management strategy. In particular, OMCE provides support by providing Legal, IT, Finance & Accounting, Facility Management and Human Resources services.

We are now looking in our clients behalf for a highly motivated Quality Assurance Manager to join the OMCE team.


The purpose of the Quality Assurance Manager role is to support OMCE managers to develop and implement solid and sustainable processes, policies and procedures for all disciplines within OMCE’s scope. As business, circumstances and stakeholders aren’t static, this role initiates continuous improvement cycles in all processes and OMCE departments. Second purpose of this role is cross Business Company promotion of existing GRs (Group Rules) and assurance of embedded up to date GRs in all Business Companies to enhance awareness and effectivity of GRs.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process establishment on policies initiation and review, as one single truth
  • Initiating & leading quality and process-improvement related activities & projects in the OMCE organization
  • Setting up a continuous improvement environment in operations-focused departments
  • Providing quality related information and support to the organization including metrics in order to manage the SLAs with the Business Companies
  • Set-up, operate & maintain Quality Management systems/tools/infrastructures
  • Contributing to and promoting the quality policy and increasing quality awareness in the organization
  • Handling operational Quality Assurance (ensure follow up on complaints, audits, and quality problems)
  • Identifying, supporting and resolving quality related issues in the organization
  • Contributing to and promoting the quality policy and increasing quality awareness in the organization
  • Regular review and update of processes, policies and procedures in collaboration with OMCE departmental managers
  • Responsible to establish and maintain a cross Business Company network of GR owners to be able to manage implementation, maintenance and effectiveness of GRs across EMEA Region
  • Responsible to define and drive the Annual calendar of projects and activities on OGR Management & Promotion in order to outline the activities, priorities and deadlines.
  • Carry out GR management & promotion cross Business Company in EMEA region, in alignment with OC direction and requests to ensure that:
  • GRs receive the right promotion / attention within all Business Companies and within all disciplines (for instance ensure discussions on local / regional management team meetings)
  • Areas of training are identified and that trainings are created and being followed (either through e-learning or if so requested classroom or F2F) in collaboration with the content owner and L&D “Areas for promotion are identified and promotion/adoption campaigns launch in collaboration with communications department”.
  • Identification of lack of understanding is being done and countermeasures are defined in cooperation with the GR owner;
  • GRs and related processes and procedures etc. are explained and implemented in all organizations after instruction of the GR;
  • New GR owners within the organization are informed, educated and mentored to ensure the correct level of understanding and execution.
  • Reporting on completion of tasks, projects and in case of identified issues.

Functie eisen

  • Bachelor´s degree, Quality Management or Business Administration preferred
  • A professional certification in one of the Quality Management methodologies
  • Lean or Six Sigma education preferred
  • Design thinking education preferred
  • Relevant knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS18001, AEO
  • Required specific knowledge, skills and experience
  • At least 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience in a Process or Quality Management environment in a multi-national company
  • Knowledge or expertise in Corporate and Back Office environment and experience working with various Quality Management and Continuous Improvement tools and methods (TQM, Lean, TPM, Kaizen, 5S)
  • Experience with customer-centric
  • Ability to address complex situations in a multi-national environment
  • Ability to set up from scratch a quality and continuous improvement environment
  • Professional proficiency in English language, other languages are a pre not a must
  • Proactive, eager to take initiative, enthusiastic, flexible, pragmatic
